Ayman Elgohary is a Managing Director of the Cisco – Egypt, North Africa & Levant (NAL)
Ayman Elgohary has more than 28-years of experience in the #ICT Sector; leading corporate strategy, transformational initiatives, and highly qualified multi-functional teams with different cultural backgrounds. He possesses extensive knowledge in #MiddleEast and #Africa (MEA) Market; he worked in the #UAE in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, led businesses in #Egypt, #Levant, #NorthAfrica, and West Central Africa.
In 2004, he joined #Cisco and moved between different managerial roles until he was appointed General Manager for Egypt in October 2013. Since then, his role expanded several times to be covering multiple countries across Africa and Levant. Currently, he is the Managing Director for NAL, a region that comprises 30-countries including Egypt, North Africa, Levant, West Central Africa (WCA) Region, and the United Nations (#UN).
Ayman holds a Master of Business Administration (#MBA) from the reputable Strathclyde Business School (SBS) in Scotland, one of the top 100 and leading business schools in the world. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical #Engineering (BSEE), majored in #Communications and #Electronics from Ain Shams University (ASU) in Cairo.
Currently, Ayman is serving as a board member in the Digital Economy and #Technology General Division (DETGD) at the Federation of Egyptian chambers of commerce. Also, he is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Egypt and part of its #ICT Committee, where he served as a Co-Chair for almost 6-years. In addition, he served as a board member for more than 5-years in the Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (#CIT) affiliated with the Egyptian #Ministry of #Communication Information
