Ahmed Abdelazeem is a telecommunications professional with over 16 years of experience in smart cities, broadband infrastructure, and digital transformation. He currently serves as Director of Broadband at National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), where he leads national broadband strategies, regulatory frameworks, and initiatives that accelerate the development of smart and connected communities. His expertise focuses on enabling sustainable urban transformation through resilient telecommunications infrastructure, intelligent connectivity, City Operation Centers, digital governance, and integrated ICT platforms.
He has contributed to the development of national policies, regulatory guidelines, and technical frameworks that support broadband expansion, FTTx deployment, enhanced Quality of Service (QoS), and the adoption of next-generation digital infrastructure.
