Hosam Mohie is a Seasoned Data Centers Manager, managing #certified and edge #datacenters at the largest #bank of #privatesector banks inside #Egypt and #Africa.
He started the #datacenter career during 2013 with an #IT background, then at 2015 he was nominated as the CIB Egypt Data Centers Manager after leading the secondary site renovation #project and establishing DC #facilities #operations team.
In 2019 led #datacenter team to achieve the 1st Uptime Institute M&O (Management and Operations) certification in Africa. Since 2021 Hosam is leading the #datacenter #transformation and #modernization. In 2022 his team acquired Tier III of design documents from Uptime Institute.
Renovation long journey, including adding 1st of type #monitoring and #operation room with a #video wall, allowing the maximum benefits and use of new monitoring and #control #applications of the DC environment.
Also, he manages a portfolio of sites with +4.5 Megawatts.
