Abdelhameed Mohamed is a Smart City Specialist & a Principal ELV/ICT Design Engineer. He holds both the BICSI RCDD and DCDC certifications. His experience was gained from working in both the (design) and (operation & maintenance) fields. As for the design field, Abdelhameed has been working with ECG consultancy company-Qatar branch from August 2013 till June 2021. He participated through his work with ECG in designing the ELV/ICT systems of a number of mega projects including the projects related to the FIFA 2022 World Cup. As for the (operation & maintenance) field, he worked in the (operation & maintenance) of the sound and CCTV systems for the Mecca holy mosque from March 2009 till May 2013. The systems at Mecca holy mosque are considered one of the largest scale systems worldwide due to the vast zones and areas covered, as well as the sensitivity of the place.
Abdelhameed was graduated from MSA University in Egypt and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Greenwich University – UK after following an approved validation program. He has been a speaker at a number of entities. Since September 2021, Abdelhameed has joined a Master’s program in (Smart City Solutions) in HFT Stuttgart University – Germany to add the European experience in this field to his profile.
